2021 MISSION TRIP INFO COMING SOON!
In 2019, in Latvia our group of 21 students and adults had the opportunity to visit 10 different schools. Within these 10 different schools, our group visited 40-50 classes and shared about life in America. Some of the schools that we visited were more open than others and we were able to share about life at Church and talk about God, while others were more closed and we were strictly limited to talking about America. After our presentations we were able to talk to some of the Latvian students and invite them to youth rallies that City Center Church held every night while we were there.
At these rallies, our student worship team had the opportunity to lead worship with some of the Latvians at City Center Church. Pastor AJ preached the Gospel at these rallies and some of our students and the Latvian students had the opportunity to share their testimonies as well. From these rallies, we saw 80 or more decisions including salvations and specific prayer requests. Friday night after we had left Liepaja, City Center Church had their regular youth night activities and saw at least 15 new students. We want to say thank you to everyone who prayed for us and to those who financially assisted many of our team members. God is really moving in Liepaja, Latvia and we are grateful to have been a part of it!
