Associate Pastor to Students
Christian "Cheeto" James is a product of Evergreen's Student Ministry. Christian joined the Student Ministry in the fall of 2015, where he was given the nickname "Cheeto." Cheeto was called to ministry in the summer of 2017, and graduated from high school in 2020. He spent three years following graduation (2020-2023) learning how to do ministry from the Evergreen Staff as he served as the Student Ministry Intern, and became Evergreen's Associate Pastor to Students in August 2023. In May 2024, Cheeto graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a Bachelor's in Biblical Studies. Cheeto and his fiancee, Hannah, are getting married in September 2024. Cheeto loves coffee, traveling, OU football, and nerding out about Biblical Greek.
